ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE SELECTION OF RESEARCHERS R1, R2, R3, AND R4

FOR THE TEAM IMPLEMENTING PROJECT BG16RFPR002-1.014-0005, CENTER OF COMPETENCE “SMART MECHATRONIC, ECO- AND ENERGY-SAVING SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGIES”, FUNDED UNDER THE PROGRAM “RESEARCH, INNOVATION AND DIGITALIZATION FOR INTELLIGENT TRANSFORMATION” 2021–2027

The Center of Competence "Smart Mechatronic, Eco- and Energy-Saving Systems and Technologies" announces a procedure for the selection of a research team for the implementation of project BG16RFPR002-1.014-0005 in the following laboratories:

• Laboratory C2.1: Development and Research of Smart Mechatronic Systems for Measuring Static and Dynamic Quantities;
• Laboratory C4.1 Data processing in intelligent transportation systems;
• Laboratory C4.2 Processing of visual information in intelligent transportation systems;
• Laboratory C5.1: Smart (Intelligent) and Specialized Robots;
• Laboratory C5.4: Collective Robotics;
• Laboratory C5.5: Special electric drives in robotics;
• Laboratory C6.1: Innovative Nanostructured Materials;
• Laboratory C7.4: Environmentally Friendly, Energy-Efficient and Electromagnetically Compatible LED and RES Components and Technologies;
• Laboratory C8.1 Automotive mechatronic systems;
• Laboratory C8.2 Integrated systems for design and manufacturing in the automotive;
• Laboratory C8.5: Industrial Nanotechnologies.

The available positions for which candidates may apply are:

• Researcher R4 – leading researchers, habilitated scientists with a Hirsch Index (h) greater than 5, with at least 10 publications in the last 5 years in peer-reviewed and indexed scientific journals reflected in databases such as SCOPUS, WoS, Harzing’s Publish or Perish (Google Scholar);
• Researcher R3 – researcher with a defended doctoral degree who has developed some independence in conducting scientific research, habilitated scientist;
• Researcher R2 – researcher with a defended doctoral degree who is not yet fully independent in their work, non-habilitated individual;
• Researcher R1 – researcher before defending a doctoral dissertation, holding a Master's degree.

All candidates must hold qualifications in the scientific field of “Technical Sciences” or “Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Informatics”.

Applicants for the position of "Researcher" must submit the following documents:

1. Application addressed to the Project Manager;
2. Curriculum Vitae (CV);
3. Documents proving the acquired qualifications for the position they are applying for (R1, R2, R3 – diploma; for R4 – diploma and proof of h-index).

After the deadline for submission of documents, a Commission appointed by the Project Manager will review the submitted applications and rank the candidates.

All applicants will be notified in writing by email of the results of the selection process.
